Embedded Systems Analysis Engineer (ADAS / Automotive)
About the Role:
This role focuses on first-line analysis of software and hardware issues across automotive systems, with strong emphasis on ECU manufacturing environments, End-of-Line (EOL) testing, SW flashing, and analysis of field-returned units. The goal is to identify root cause direction (SW vs HW vs design vs manufacturing) and support system-level investigations.
Responsibilities:
- L0–L1 analysis of returned devices and EOL issues
- ECU flashing and validation in production/factory environments
- Triage issues across software, hardware, design, and manufacturing domains
- Analyze logs, traces, and system behavior to identify failure patterns
- Support debugging and reproduction in lab / HIL setups
- Work with CAN and Automotive Ethernet-based systems
- Collaborate with R&D, validation, and production teams on root cause analysis
- Document findings and support escalation with clear technical insights
Requirements:
- Strong background in Ethernet testing (100BASE-T1, 1000BASE-T1, 10G)
- SW flashing and white-box testing on ECUs with multiple SoCs
- Experience with cybersecurity key provisioning at End-of-Line
- Strong experience in embedded systems within the automotive domain
- Hands-on with ADAS systems (camera, radar, domain controllers)
- Knowledge of CAN, Automotive Ethernet, UDS
- Experience with debugging/log analysis tools (e.g., CANoe, CANalyzer)
- Understanding of system-level behavior and issue triaging
- Exposure to EOL, production environments, or returned device analysis
- Debugging low-level issues, including HW, is an advantage
Nice to Have:
- AUTOSAR, HIL environments
- Basic scripting (Python)
- Familiarity with tools like Jira, DOORS, Git
