Junior DevOps Engineer

Format: On-site, Warsaw

We are looking for a Junior DevOps Engineer with 1-2 years of experience to help build, automate, and maintain both on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure for our cloud-native AI data platform. The ideal candidate has early hands-on experience with CI/CD, container orchestration, infrastructure as code (IaC), and monitoring, and is eager to grow into a strong platform engineer under a senior team.

Strong English is a MUST – all code, documentation, and team communication are in English.

The company develops its own proprietary technologies and platforms, helping governments, enterprises, and educational organizations strengthen cyber resilience and improve digital security.

Responsibilities:

• Help design and operate CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD GitOps).
• Support and optimize on-premises and AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Work with containerization and orchestration — Docker and Kubernetes (AWS EKS + on-prem Talos).
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform, Terragrunt, and Helm.
• Support AI/ML workloads (GPU compute, NLP/OCR, LLM-backed services) on the data platform.
• Monitor and improve system performance, security, and availability using Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, and Tempo.
• Manage secrets with External Secrets Operator — never hardcode credentials.
• Collaborate with development and IT teams to streamline workflows and write clear English runbooks.

Requirements:

• 1–2 years of experience in DevOps, system administration, or cloud engineering (strong internships/portfolio projects count).
• Fluent professional English, written and spoken (MUST).
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes (on-prem and cloud) and Docker, with exposure to CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Jenkins).
• Strong Linux, networking, and scripting (Bash, Python) skills.
• Hands-on with IaC — Terraform/Terragrunt, Helm, or ArgoCD.
• Exposure to on-prem virtualization (VMware/vSphere, Proxmox) and storage solutions, ideally in air-gapped environments.
• Familiarity with security best practices, OIDC/secrets management, and monitoring/logging tools.
• Interest in AI/ML infrastructure and comfort using AI-assisted tooling.
• AWS certification an advantage.
