About the Role:

We are looking for a PSP Operations & Settlement Specialist to join the back-office operations team of a growing PSP company in Cyprus. This is an operational role focused on daily PSP activity, merchant settlements, acquirer reconciliation, exception handling, and operational reporting. The role requires strong attention to detail, Excel skills, and the ability to work with transaction-level data.

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily reconciliation between gateway reports and acquirer reports.
• Investigate transaction differences, including missing transactions, amount differences, refunds, chargebacks, reversals, and operational exceptions.
• Communicate with acquirers regarding reconciliation gaps and report issues.
• Verify that funds received from acquirers match reconciled reports and settlement data.
• Prepare merchant settlement files for finance review and payment processing.
• Operate the gateway system, including merchant setup, transaction review, and report generation.
• Maintain reconciliation files, exception logs, settlement files, and open issue tracking.
• Provide the finance department with accurate operational reports and supporting data when required.

Requirements:

• Experience in PSP, fintech, acquiring operations, back-office operations, reconciliation, or settlement operations.
• Excel skills, including formulas, lookups, pivot tables, and large data sets.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies in transaction-level data.
• Good English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, follow up on open issues, and escalate problems when needed.
